I guess the Lord made me hard to handle

I just consumed the worst breakfast. I'm annoyed because I want my calories back. Can you have a calorie redo when it comes to eating food you don't like?

Anyway, today's post isn't about my awful SmartOnes Stuffed Breakfast Sandwich that you should never buy. Even if you have coupons. No, today's post is about Sister #2.

Do you know Sister #2? No. Oh, well you should get to know her. I believe she is quite a delight.

This past weekend I was in Hometown, USA for Mother's Day. Sister #2 was home as well. She just finished her first year of college, and is spending the summer at home.

Saturday night my mom sent Sister #2 and I to Wally World. We were on a mission for a tomato, cucumber, and avocado. It was a big mission.

As we were driving home from Wally World, a Dierks Bentley song came on the radio. Do you know Dierks Bentley? No. Really? You know, you guys should really get out more. Dierks Bentley, is a cutie that sings good quality country songs. My favorite song of his is... What Was I Thinkin.

Becky was a beauty from South Alabama

Her Daddy had a hard lock and nine pound hammer

Think He even did a little time in the slammer

What was I thinking?

Ring a bell? No? Ok, fine moving on.

As the song was playing Sister #2 informed me that when she was younger, she always thought I would marry Dierks. I laughed. She thought since he was single, cute, and a good singer that we would make a good couple.

Isn't that the nicest thing ever?

I mean, sure, she was probably 7 years old when she had this dream, but even at that young age she could tell I was destined for greatness! Oh bless her little heart. What a disappointment I've become. Kidding.

Today's hot guy is Sister #2's top pick for my future husband. I'm sorry I could not live up to Sister #2's expectations, in the husband department. I'm sure Dierks and I would have been really happy together. However, if I'd married a hot country singer, I might not have this wonderful blog, and I know that breaks all of your hearts.

Gary England

Yesterday I planned to post a Weekend Update. I had a great weekend. I went to Hometown, USA for Mother's Day, and spent a good amount of the weekend around old friends. You know the friends that make you happy to be alive? Yes, those people. However, I did not get around to writing the post, because yesterday the bottom fell out of the sky.

Folks, it's tornado season around here, which makes me jump for joy. There's just something about tornado season for anyone from around these parts of the woods. It's exciting, yet scary.

Yesterday, I was sitting in a meeting when my office's receptionist came over the intercom announcing that the sh*t has hit the fan, and we all need to hit the floor immediately. Ok, so maybe I'm being a bit dramatic. I believe she simply said to be aware of the weather.

After the announcement my meeting dismissed and I went back to my office. As I was walking down the hallway I found my entire department had jumped ship due to the storm. Now, this annoyed me because my coworkers left me to fight the storm ALONE. I mean come on, don't they know you are not suppose to leave a solider behind. Sure, I'm not a solider, but we're family around here!!!! Well, I guess we are not family around here! But one brave coworker was still working, and informed me that I had 10 minutes to get home before the storm hit my office. I flew out of my office like Starbucks was having a sale on nonfat Chai.

Apparently, everyone heard about the Starbucks sale because all of OKC was out on the roads trying to get home, which caused me not to beat the storm. The highlight of the afternoon was when the hail starting hitting my car, and the tornado sirens went off for about 10 minutes. I just turned up the radio. What? It was a good song, and I've heard the tornado sirens before.

Today's hot guy is my #1 weather guy! Gary England, job well done yesterday. You kept me advised, which kept me alive! I realize people from outside the Oklahoma bubble do not understand my love for this man, but just go with me. If you ever come visit me during tornado season, you'll develop a deep love for him too.

Mr. CSI Guy

Blogger World, I would like to send my apologizes for not updating yesterday. Sorry.

However, today is Friday, which is a day we all love. Not only do I love Fridays, I also love geeky guys. Today's, Hot Guy a Day in the Month of May goes to my all time favorite geeky guy. He is the reason I've watched CSI Las Vegas all these years. I'm a loyal fan.

Mr. CSI Guy, sorry don't know your real name, thanks for being so darn cute! I love watching you solve crimes and putting away the bad folks of Las Vegas. I feel that if we knew each other in real life, we might like each other. But we don't know each other. Heck, I don't even know your name, but I make sure to tune in every TH. Well, I watch you and my Housewives, but I only watch them because I'm fascinated with the way they act. I watch your show because you're so cute!

National Teachers Day

Yesterday, was National Teachers Day. I didn't realize May 4th was the day we honor our teachers. I think it's good we have a day to honor our teachers. They are important to us, to me.

My mom is a teacher. She's a kindergarten teacher. Her day is spent teaching 5 year old kids how to read, tie their shoes, count money, share, and sing silly songs about letter people. I used to think she had a great gig. I mean, she colored for crying out loud. However, the older/wiser I became the more I realized you couldn't pay me enough to be a teacher. Oh heck no!

On a rare occasion that I visit my mom's class, it makes me greatly appreciate what she does for a living. She's important. She's molding the minds of young ones. She is teaching a possible future president how to read! I don't do anything that important at my job, and I never will.

I would like to thank all the teachers, including my mom, that helped me get through elementary, middle, and high school. It was sometimes a long/painful road, but look at me now! I have a job and an MBA. I know some of you doubted me, but never underestimate the power of Riddlin and good tutors.

Today's Hot Guy is Tom Selleck. My mom has never come out and said she thinks he's hot, she's never said that about ANY guy, but I think she really likes Tom Selleck.

Hot Guy a Day in the Month of May

I enjoy reading The Lost Ogle. It's a wacky blog that pokes fun of everything wonderful about Oklahoma. It's a great blog.

Today, while catching up on old post I discovered The Lost Ogle dedicates the month of May to hot girls. They title the post Hot Girl a Day in the Month of May. Catchy, huh?

Well Lost Ogle Boys, I'm going to copy your idea. Fellow readers, welcome to Hot Guy a Day in the Month of May.

Our first Hot Guy is David Beckham.

I know, I think he's hot too! He has that California surfer look, but then has the great British accent.

My grandma would be so proud

Blogger World, right now I am so proud of myself. I just returned from the grocery store with these random items....

How much do you think I spent on these random items:
A) 2.59
B) 3.02
C) 1.19

Yes, I really want you to guess. I'll wait while you decide on your answer........ I'm still waiting....

If you picked C then you are correct! I was so pumped when I walked out of the grocery that I called my mom to tell her about my bargains. She was jealous!

Nevermind, that it's 8:30 on a Sunday night and I'm buying random groceries, that is totally beside the point, totally!
