Weekend Plans

Earlier this week, Canada Travis invited a few friends over to watch the Super Bowl to this weekend.

Do you see the problem? Yeah, the Super Bowl isn't this weekend. This afternoon, he notified me of our error..his error. Obviously, I cannot be mad. It was an innocent mistake. Needless to say, a Super Bowl party will not be taking place this weekend.

In light of this new discovery, I have a sneaky suspicion this weekend I will be a single gal. I have a feeling my racecar boyfriend will need to spend the weekend working on his car. Oh yes, racecar season is right around the corner. In my current condition, I'm not much help with the racecar. Therefore, I get a weekend to myself. I thinking these events might be a possibilities.

A Walk
Hopefully, my mom is not reading this post. She will have a heart-attack! Truth be told, I can only walk about five minutes before warn out. No doubt, the walk would be a short walk.

Pedicure
This might be more my speed. Who doesn't like a pedicure?

Shopping
Oh, how I've missed Target!!! My bank account hasn't missed Target, but I've missed walking up and down the aisles. Target is a must for this weekend. I don't care if one of my Sisters has to push me around in a wheelchair. Ok, I'm not that bad. I'm fully capable of walking around Target.

This should be a good weekend! The weather is supposed to be great, and I'm feeling great!

What are your weekend plans?

Couples Nap Time

You know what they say...the couple that naps together, stays together. They do say that...right? Oh well. If no one say it, they should! Sister #2 took this picture of Canada Travis and myself.

Ok, so let's ignore the fact I look completely out of it. I mean I am, but overlook how bad I look. Isn't this picture funny? I appreciate a boyfriend and Sisters who can make anything fun!

PS- thank you for all the kind thoughts and comments. You guys are great.

#badass

After Surgery #2, my doctor scheduled a two week checkup. I assumed the checkup was to make sure all incisions were healing properly. I mean, I had a total of nine incisions in my stomach. Good odds one could get infected.

I ended up be partly correct on the purpose of my checkup. The doctor did want to make sure all incisions were properly healing. She also wanted to meet with me because one of the pathology reports showed cancer. Yes, cancer. I have Stage 1C Ovarian Cancer.

Before I could begin chemo, another surgery needed to take place. Surgery #3 was going to be a hysterectomy.

Last Monday, Surgery #3 took place. I'm proud to report I rocked Surgery #3! I did better with Surgery #3 than Surgery #2. In true blogger fashion, I have a few pictures to post of this experience.

Continuing with tradition, we took a Surgery Selfie.

I received so much hospital jewelry during my overnight visit. Surgery #3, I gained two new bracelets...Allergy and Fall Risk. Awesome. Personally, I think the Fall Risk was a bit much. I don't feel like I was a Fall Risk.

Recovering from Surgery #3 has been colorful. One of my Get Well presents was an adult coloring book. Here's my first masterpiece. Not bad, huh?

So...we've gone from constipation to cancer. This might be my biggest adventure yet.

Babysitting

For the next couple days, I'm babysitting Tiny Tank. Postcard Puppies are spending some time with their grandparents so it's just Tiny Tany and myself. Last night we had so much fun together.

We chatted about our day. He's a great listener.

We watched TV.

He played with my headphones.

You know what? I think Tiny Tank likes staying with me. I wouldn't be surprised if he asked Canada Travis to stay longer.

Baby Steps

Last night, I walked on the treadmill. It felt great!!! It's been almost a month since surgery #2; to say I'm ready to hit the gym is an understatement. However, I know I have to slowly get back into working out. Therefore, I'll take the 1 mile walk on the treadmill.

I have to keep reminding myself...baby steps.

Welcome 2016

Can you believe it's already 2016? Me neither! I hope everyone had a great New Year's weekend. Mine was fantastic!!!

My aunt and uncle decided to take a road trip to OKC. It was fun to have them in town and to celebrate Christmas with them.
We tried to take this picture with the selfie stick. I say "we", but it was me who tried to use the selfie stick. I failed big time!

This weekend was also pretty productive. Canada Travis put together my new lamp, and hung my medal holder.

Of course, no weekend would be complete without the furry friends. Here's a picture of Tiny Tank watching Postcard Puppies play outside.

Isn't he the cutest!!!
