These are my favorite things- Work Addition

Lately I've been lacking on the blog post. Mostly, because my life has been boring. Everyday I get up early, go to work for a really long time, come home exhausted, and go to bed. As you can see, 90% of my day is spent at work. I suppose this is to be expected. It does pay my bills, and it does pay for my travel hobby. In honor of working long hours and being cranky, I thought a Favorite Things post was in order. Blogger World, please enjoy my favorite things about work....


1. Post-It Notes
I am a huge fan of Post-Its. Not only are they convenient, they are also very cute. Also, they come in multiple sizes and shapes. AND, they also come in a variety of colors. I just love them! The Post-It Note inventor is a genius. Did you know Art Fry invented them? It's true.
2. Sonic Ice
My office has a machine that produces Sonic Ice all day and all night. Please don't tell my mom this, but I chomp on ice all stinkin' day! It might be my favorite thing about my job. There's nothing like Sonic Ice paired with water. Tasty.
3. Cubicles
I realize most people hate having a cubicle. I feel the opposite. My cubicle has a homey feeling. You know, all crammed in a small space. It's very lovely. However, recently my work load has doubled, possibly tripled. This has resulted in a mass amount of...stuff in my cubicle. My cube no longer feels homey. Instead, it looks like I need to be on an episode of Hoarders. But I can't just tell my boss I need a window office because I have too much crap. He might not like my suggestion. Therefore, I took matters into my own hands. Beside my cubicle there is a vacant cubicle, and today I decided the vacant cubicle is going to be my second office. This afternoon I spent time converting the extra cube into my second office. I feel so much better, and my original cube has that homey feeling again.
4. Food Cube
My department has a food cubicle. You guys know this. I've discussed it many times. Mostly, because the food cubicle is making me fat. But even though I hate the food cube, because it's making me fat. I also really love the food cubicle. Today the food cubicle had two boxes of cookies in there. One box being these amazingly delicious pink icing cookies. I was strong and resisted the cookies, but it's nice to have options. Almost everyday the food cube has something different in there. You might find cake, pie, or brownies. It's Christmas in a cube.
