All the Single Ladies Put Your Hands Up

Today's hottie is not in male form. It's in toaster form. You read that right, toaster form.

Blogger World, about five years ago I discovered the kitchen brand Viking. Do you know them? No? Really, get out more guys! Viking is a company that sells kitchen products. When I worked at the Kitchen Store, we sold a few of Viking's products. They are a step up from KitchenAid.

One day Sister #1 and I were working at the Kitchen Store and noticed our newest Viking Product to be sold. It was a Viking Toaster. For us, it was love at first sight. We both fell in love with the toaster.

Since Sister #1 and I do have brain cells, we decided the only way we would receive the beautiful $300 toaster is with marriage. We both agreed that we would put the gorgeous toaster on our wedding registry. But then it hit us, we can't both register for a $300 toaster. People will think we are mad. Therefore a deal was made. Whomever got hitched first, had the honor of registering for the Viking Toaster.

Folks, let me bring up a couple points, three to be exact.

I'm not getting any younger.

I'm striking out with all my pimp out dates.

I'm not going to sign up for eHarmony.

For those reasons, I declare the Viking Toaster mine. Sorry, Sister #1. I'm registering for this toaster on my 30th birthday. It's part of Brilliant Plan #63.

The End!

No discussion.

No debate.

I win. I'm the oldest.

hahaha fine you can have the toaster!!! Maybe I can start taking donations to pay for it (please make checks to Sister #1).
You can register at Williams Sonoma for whatever reason you want... such as your 30th bday!! Found that out last night!!

A gourmet toaster - sweet! Glad you won the battle. I want one too!

I left you a couple brunch suggestions back at my place if you're still interested. I have a couple tried and true ones I'd be happy to share. Can I come too? I love a good brunch! :D

I love your registering at 30 idea more each day.

And not because of the toaster.

But because none of us are getting younger.

The sad thing is, it's probably like $1000 for a toaster like that here. I don't eat that much toast though so I would be fussed.

I'm 33 in 3 weeks. That is feeling much more dismal and sad... tick tock tick tock.

Sister #1- You are a good sister.

Julie- I forgot to say you could come in the email. Please fly down and join us. :)

TC- I think you should steal my idea. I'll send you a present.

This Girl- Oh don't be silly. You have plenty of time. Plenty.

I had a housewarming registry last month on myregistry.com and included a quesedilla maker as a gift suggestion. So...why not? GO for it! 30 is a good age and you should have a wish list just like Carrie did on Sex and the City where she registered for shoes so that her friend could replace the ones that got lost at her party! Have fun with it! :)
