Blogger World, I'm pleased to report that my blind date was not a horrible experience. It was the opposite. I had a good time. I was impressed because "This Guy" and I have many things in common, not just running and fried food. I don't even think This Guys likes fried food! But first, I must praise MJ on his mad matchmaking skills. This Guy and I are a good match. Now if it works out, who knows but This Guy and I have many similar interests and I see us becoming friends. You know, I'm thinking MJ and I should become OKC's Millionaire Matchmatcher. If we put our matchmaking powers together, we'd be unstoppable! Everyone would have dates!
Anyway, last night This Guy and I met for coffee. We'd planned to meet at my favorite cupcake establishment, but it closed early so we opted for Starbucks. Even though I walked into Starbucks feeling exhausted from the day, I never once looked at my watch. I have to say, that's pretty huge for me. I was even surprised when the folks at Starbucks told us they were closing because it was 10pm.
I'm not for sure if This Guy and I will hang out again...but I'm kind of assuming we will. He did send me a text messaging saying he had a good time. I mean, that can't be a horrible thing? But again you never know. As I said yesterday, he wants to start as friends, so this could have been a great friend blind date. Nonetheless, I will keep you guys up-to-date because I know this is what you live for. Oh, you mean you don't care about my dating life? Hmm I think you are lying.
PS-Still working on the nickname.
