Chemo Dropout Part II

If you'll remember, the aftereffects of Spa Day #1 were not good. We ended up in the ER on Day 1 for a staple and IV. I mean, how much worse could it get??? Blogger World, I'm here to tell you it gets worse.

The aftereffects of Spa Day #2 were far worse. We started out strong, but then Day 4 (Sunday) hit me. On my word!!!      I was so nauseous I couldn't get out of bed. I laid in bed, on my back, all day/night.  I didn't move, eat, drink, talk, or do anything for over 24 hours. Oh wait I did move, but only to puke. Sunday's adventures knocked me down. It has taken me over two days to recover from Sunday Funday!!! Today, I finally feel somewhat decent; which feels great! But you know what? I'm a positive person so here are a few highlights from the weekend.

1. No ER visit!!!
2. Visitors- I had multiple visitors over the weekend, including my Furry Friends.
3. Lost a few unwanted pounds!

And that's about it...

So yeah, chemo sucks! Once again I ask, can I dropout of chemo?

Well that really blows. You should probably demand a refund for your spa day. I'm glad the fuzzy buddies were there with you. <3 One day at a time. I know it's cliché, but it is the only thing that got me through hard times struggling with my health. Much love.

You should speak to your oncologist because unfortunately they don't always see your trips to the er and other problems the chemo is causing. There are several types of chemo that you can use and they can pick another one that hopefully won't knock you flat out each time... the purpose of the chemo is to get rid of the cancer...not you.

hugs!

btw: my father in law did drop out of his treatments and fired his oncologist for being too aggressive.
