Home Sweet Home

I have returned from Land of the Hogs. When I arrived home I was greeted with a feet of snow in the ditches and in my backyard. Blogger World, Oklahoma does not receive feet of snow. We're more of an inches type of state. From what I've heard around the office, and on the World News, OKC was pretty much closed down during Christmas. I'm sure that was a sight to see.

This morning the roads were still semi bad. I left super early so I could beat the rush hour traffic. I do not like driving on icy streets along idiots. I prefer to have the road to myself, so I can drive grandma speed. However before I ventured to work, I stopped at Starbucks for a drink. The roads are never too bad for a hot drink from Starbucks! By the way, I'm loaded up with gift certificates to Starbucks. I can drink nonfat Chai/nonfat Steamers until my heart gives out. This makes my butt and thighs very happy.

Strange winter we're having! We keep getting hit with bitter cold snaps that hang around. Not normal.

I'm glad you made it to work okay along with your Starbucks!

Girl, my Dad surprised me and the hubby with two $100 gift certificates from Starbucks for Christmas. I about passed out. So I'm sure I'll see you in the drive thru! Hope you had a good Christmas.

I loved loved loved Sherlock Holmes! It has a great storyline and excellent writing.

Please steal the idea. I stole it myself from a Facebook friend!

I bought stock in Starbucks because of Okie Chick! She is making the stock rise everyday! Thank you!

Glad you made it home. We are currently south of Enid. We drove 20 miles in one hour due to construction in northern OK. We also had bad roads this morning. Our normal 12.5 hour trip is going to take us 14 hours. Thankgoodness for internet on my phone.
