Starbucks Wisdom

Starbucks has brought back The Way I See It. I'm so excited. Here is today's The Way I See It...

I used to feel so alone in the city. All those gazillions of people and then me, on the outside. Because how do you meet a new person? I was very stumped by this for many years. And then I realized, you just say, "Hi." They may ignore you. Or you may marry them. And that possibility is worth that one word.

Blogger World, today I plan to say "Hi" to someone I don't know. I'll let you know if they ignore me or marry me. I thought today's The Way I See It was pretty solid advice. It's pretty basic, but sometimes we forget that the first step to meeting someone is saying...hello.

That is good advice.

But um... what is this program of theirs? I'm confused by that.

That could have been the way I met DH...but it's not. ;) We were set up.
But saying "Hi" never hurt anyone and you never know what may happen.

Good luck out there!

That is good advice however, when someone I don't know says hi to me, I think they know me and then I am embarrassed that I don't know them!!
I just looked at my cup and I have those too. Mine isn't as good though. It says....
"Hypocrisy is annoying but not evil. Someone who says one thing and does another has doubled their chances of being half right"

I thought it was good. I did say hi but people just said hi back. No one wanted to marry me.
