Friday Fun Facts

Today's Friday Fun Facts are things that happened today, June 20th. It's ok if everyone steals all these facts to use on their friends. Go ahead, look smart today!

1973 - "American Bandstand" celebrated its 20th anniversary with a 90-minute television special. Little Richard, Paul Revere & the Raiders, Cheech and Chong and Three Dog Night made appearances.

1994 - In Los Angeles, O.J. Simpson pled innocent to the killing of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.

1969 - Jimi Hendrix earned the largest paycheck (to that time) for a single show when he earned $125,000 for a single set at the Newport Jazz Festival.

1989 - Ringo Starr was a guest on NBC-TV's "Late Night With David Letterman."

1995 - Michael Jackson's "HIStory: Past, Present And Future Book 1" was released.

1980 - "It's Still Rock & Roll" became Billy Joel's first #1 hit. 1989 - The "Batman:Motion Picture Soundtrack" was released by Prince.

so, how was your trip to Arkansas? We missed you guys yesturday and PLLLLEASE NOTE..your dad bought a new grill (he says he can't cook on the old one-that is why everything is burnt) and what would you know......we had black burgers and black buns! IT IS NOT THE GRILL>>Fathers day next year may I suggest a grilling cook book! we did have a good time! and I do like my burgers almost burnt anyhow!

I watched a movie with Nicole Kidman in it the other night. "The Interpreters," I think it was called.
