For the past five years Sister #1 and I have celebrated MLK weekend in Portland.
You might be asking yourself...why Portland?
Why not.
Each year we try to find something new in Portland. Last year, our search lead us to Kava. If you remember, I was quoted saying Kava was like drinking dirt. It's awful, don't try Kava.
This year, we discovered Rogue Maple Bacon Beer. This was a HUGE improvement from last year's Kava. HUGE.

Well, another Portland trip under our belt. Thank you Portland for being such a great host. We'll see you next year!

Weird...they put bacon in everything nowadays! You must try Biscoff! It's so good, you will hate me!
I need a tradition like that.....sorry we missed each other again, maybe next time I'm in town we can catch up!
