Ramblings

New year, new Ramblings. Enjoy....

Last week I read a very interesting article from Huffington Post's website. Blogger World, did you know R&B singer R.Kelly owes $4.8 million in back taxes? Yes, $4.8 million! Did you know Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne owe more than $2 million in back taxes? Also, if you keep up with Hollywood gossip, like me, you heard Lindsay Lohan owes the IRS money too. Her total is reported to be $230,000.
This past election Hollywood celebrities were preaching loud and proud about how they wanted to pay higher taxes. Do you remember? My question to you, shouldn't they work on paying their taxes before preaching loud and proud?

Since Christmas is over you can find bargains everywhere. My best find has been at Target. I hit their Christmas food aisle. Lord have mercy, I hit the jackpot. I found Stacey's Pita Chips for $.29. Currently, I have 5 bags at my house.

Confession, every once in a while I watch The Kardashians. Now before you judge me, hear me out. Sometimes, I can relate to The Kardashian sisters. For instance, I completely understand how Kim felt when Rob borrowed her Bentley without asking. You do not understand how fired up I can get when The Sisters borrow my Target shirts without asking!

Tomorrow, January 10th, is Houseplant Appreciation Day. Please remember to water your plants. Thank you.

Soon and very soon, I will be attending the 27the annual Chili Bowl Midget Nationals. It's my first time to attend the Chili Bowl, and I am extremely excited. No, I really am excited! This will be another cultural experience, and from what I've heard a great party. I love parties! Also, it's a car race that features really good looking guys. See, there's nothing to dislike about this event.

FYI....The Sisters and I have discovered SmartWool running socks. If you run, you should own these socks.

Sadly, I must end this post.

Over and Out

of course even if they could get those stars to pay it wouldn't be but a drop in the bucket of what is owed. :-/

Yay after Christmas sales! :D

I'm impressed with your Christmas bargain! That is awesome. I didn't get to do much after Christmas since we went to Nashville for the wedding. :(

Thanks for sharing about National houseplant day tomorrow. I would have hated to miss that.

I noticed some of those socks at Academy last year, but wasn't sure how they'd work.

I find most of my shirts come from Target anymore.

Now that we've had a Ramblings, I feel like the year can truly get underway.
