Life with two sisters

Last night, Sister #1 cooked dinner for Sister #2 and myself. We all met at her place of residence around 6:15ish. The meal was fantastic. Normally, I would go into great detail about our meal. However today I don't have time, and that's not the point of my post.

When dinner was finished everyone started making their way out the door. My family isn't one of those eat and linger families. We eat, we clean up, and we move on to the next event. It's the A.D.D. You combine 4 out of 5 people with A.D.D, and there isn't going to be much sitting and chatting.

Anyway, we were all outside about to go our separate ways when the following conversation took place:
Sister #1: Did you wear that outfit to work?
Me: Yes. Why? Do you not like it?
Sister #1: No. I don't think it matches.
Sister #2: No, it doesn't match.
Me: Yes, it does. These pants are brownish and this shirt is brown.
Sister #1: Those are not brown pants they look gray.
Sister #2: And the brown boots don't match either.
Me: The pants are brown.
Sister #1: Sister #2, come here. You have on a black shirt we'll compare.
Sister #1: Huh? Well, they don't look brown from a distance.
Sister #2: Nope
Me: Well, what color am I suppose to wear with this shirt?
Sister #1 and Sister #2: I don't know, but not those pants or boots. It doesn't match.

I appreciate the Sisters honesty after I'd worn the outfit all day. You now see why I wear lots of black and white. There's never a problem with matching.

This is why I wear black or grey trousers to work but don't wear a tie.

LOL! My family is the same way with dinner...I think sometimes it's from years of busyness and practices after dinner. Drives me crazy after all the time I spend in the kitchen and they're done in about 10 minutes!!!
