I have a huge announcement. Please, pay attention. Are you listening?
Next month Billy Joel and Elton John are coming to OKC for a concert! Don't roll your eyes at me. This is huge and I will not miss out! You see, B&E came to OKC a few years ago, but I did not go to the concert because I was too cheap. This time, I am not missing out. A small fact about OK Chick: Billy Joel sings two of her all time favorite songs; Uptown Girl and We Didn't Start the Fire. I LOVE those songs. Anyway, you can bet your bottom that on Nov 25th, I will be in the Ford Center rocking out to Billy Joel.
By the way, I am now taking applications for people to sit by me at the concert-aka friends. If you are not for sure if you meet the Friend Criteria please review this post. Thanks!

I would like to apply for the friend postition. I meet most of your requirements. I will be in town, my birthday is two days later and I have seen Billy Joel in concert once before.
I was sooo going to apply until I noticed two things on my calendar...
1st, it is on a Wed and I have to work till 5 and wouldn't get to OKC until 9 so I would miss one of the two acts.
2nd (and the most important) that is the day after my "Happy Bev Hills 90210 Season 8 Box Set Day" so I have an important date with my DVD player!!
I highly recommend going to the concert, because it is amazing! I saw Elton John in Vienna when I was there for the summer, just because the guy I was dating at the time loved him, won't name a name on that one, but then I saw them in OKC, with Riz, she wants to go! I'll be out of town. Have so much fun! They both have some good songs!
I will join you...SS will be working, but the grandparents can watch ss for me. You still people to go with you?
