This weekend was great! I thought since I had an exciting weekend I would post a Weekend Update. Let's dive in on OK Chick's exciting weekend...
Friday
Friday night I participated in Back in the Swing. This is a nonprofit organization started by a fellow Jazzerciser, who is also a breast cancer survivor. My favorite aerobics people, Jazzercise, had a special fundraiser aerobics class. It was very fun. Not only did a burn more calories, which is pretty critical with this weight loss competition, I also supported a fellow Jazzerciser who is a cancer survivor.
Saturday
I kicked off the morning with a 5K. This was my first summer race. I usually run 3-4 races a summer, and this race always kicks off the summer. I did pretty well in the race. I didn't win or anything, but I finished. The wind was crazy, but you know, that's normal around here.
Saturday afternoon I decided to go to aerobics. Now, don't think I'm crazy. Well, crazier than normal. This weekend my air condition was not working, and it was HOT Saturday. I thought instead of sitting in my hot house, I would just go to aerobics. They at least have A/C. I mean, sure I was going to get even hotter, but at least I would burn about 400 calories getting hot.
Saturday evening I attended my first BBQ. I love BBQs! Really, there's nothing better than eating a hamburger outside. I dined on all the normal BBQ fixin's. My cool coworker, even made cake balls for dessert. They were heaven.
Sunday
Church. Blogger World, the time has come for my 5th grade kiddos to move up to youth group. Next week is my last week with these kids. I'm about 80% sure I'll get teary eyed next Sunday. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself this summer. I've been helping in the kids area for 3 years. These kids have been my kids for 3 years!
Well, there you have it. An exciting weekend for OK Chick. Next weekend should be good as well. I have relatives from Land of the Hogs visiting. I'm hoping the A/C is fixed by then.
Today's hottie is Chris O'Donnell. I'm sure everyone would agree that he's a cutie?

TC- I didn't even think of a movie! You are so smart!!! I'm actually kind of bummed that I didn't think of the movie. I could have gone to the dollar movies.
