It would be an honor. :)
So tell me more about this extended European holiday.

Renee- I listen to KLove as well. My radio is programed for every type of music. I listen to everything.

Bone-Yes, comericals are going back to the old school music. Target does this often, but they mix it up with some new songs as well.OK Chickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14729372117518869463noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4106838531281111864.post-9206474207416964272008-09-09T09:02:00.000-07:002008-09-09T09:02:00.000-07:00I was thinking the same thing about commercials re...I was thinking the same thing about commercials recently. It seems like they use mostly older songs.

Nike used "Happiest Girl In The Whole USA" from the 70's on its Olympic commercial. And then there was that car commercial awhile back that used "Mister Roboto." And that tempted by the fruit of another song has been used, too.

Maybe there's just no good music anymore.

When I think college parties, I think "Push It." Or maybe that was high school parties.

Sa-Salt and Pepa's here, and we're in effect...Bonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10096591352278195759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4106838531281111864.post-83431218261106396322008-09-09T07:47:00.000-07:002008-09-09T07:47:00.000-07:00You're Coyote Ugly comment got me remembering ...You're Coyote Ugly comment got me remembering this show on TLC where folks tried a new job to see if they could trick "experts" into thinking that they were really in that job...one was a librarian who tried being a Coyote Ugly barmaid...she did a really good job of it and after the show stuck with it part time (after being a libarian).
As a gal who grew up in the 80's I was pretty shocked to see all my old favs up on that list too...makes me wonder if all the really good songs have already been done. I know that when I'm out with DD and hear an old song...then realize that someone has remade it and messed it all up!
Since I can't find anything decent to listen to on regular radio, we listen to KLOVE here. I like that they play a variety of different styles of music while none of it is lude. DD loves Toby Mac & Newsboys. (I do too!)Renee Nefehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08167893445846427824noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4106838531281111864.post-73116896891102100222008-09-09T07:42:00.000-07:002008-09-09T07:42:00.000-07:00Of course I don't because I'm a good church going ...Of course I don't because I'm a good church going girl.

Haha. We really could be good travel partners :) Can I put your on speed dial to call to get my friends and I out of trouble should we actually follow through with that extended European "holiday" next year that we've been talking about since my PR trip earlier this summer? Of course I don't because I'm a good church going girl. However, I have always wanted to be one of those Coyote Ugly girls, for a night not as a career.
I'm a fan of Jack Johnson. He has a couple songs that I really like.OK Chickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14729372117518869463noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4106838531281111864.post-55683224833386064212008-09-09T06:17:00.000-07:002008-09-09T06:17:00.000-07:00I obviously went to the wrong house parties in col...I obviously went to the wrong house parties in college (not that I went to many), as I would have loved this list!!! Well, except for Jack Johnson and Lil Wayne... not fans. Everything else though - love it.

However, true fans of the 80s would have included a little Def Leppard (more than likely Pour some sugar on me for a party) too. So these kids these days are just totally wanna bes :)TChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02487739742081226423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4106838531281111864.post-65754457246328043002008-09-09T06:06:00.000-07:002008-09-09T06:06:00.000-07:00That is weird. I would have put a lot more of Lil Wayne, T-Pain, ummm, some other rappers that sing obnoxiously about stuff that is not ok to sing about but is ok because you can't tell what they are saying.
Yeah, I was listening to old school Reba while reading your blog!!monamachel1https://www.blogger.com/profile/13756902614751199539noreply@blogger.com
